Custom abutment milling refers to the process of using a milling machine to create a custom abutment for dental implants. A custom abutment is a connector placed on top of a dental implant to support and retain a prosthetic tooth or crown.

During the milling process, a block of material, usually titanium or zirconia, is shaped into a custom abutment that fits the specific dimensions and contours of a patient's mouth. This customized approach ensures a precise fit and optimal esthetics for the final restoration.
